Conquest Music has shared, on behalf of his family, that Paul Andrews, better known as Paul Di’Anno, has sadly died. Paul passed away at his home in Salisbury, aged 66.
He was born in Chingford, East London, on 17 May 1958. Paul became famous as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden from 1978 to 1981. He sang on their first album, Iron Maiden, and the next one, Killers.
After leaving Iron Maiden, Paul had a long and busy music career with Battlezone and other bands.
