News:
Bad Cop/Bad Cop announce new album

California punk outfit Bad Cop/Bad Cop are back with a new full-length. Lighten Up, the band’s fourth studio album, will be released on September 17, 2025 via Fat Wreck Chords and Hopeless Records.

Formed in 2011 in San Pedro, the band quickly made a name for themselves with their melodic, harmony-driven punk and powerful live shows. After signing to Fat Wreck in 2014, they released three albums including Not Sorry (2015), Warriors (2017), and The Ride (2020). The upcoming record is their first since 2020 and the first to feature guitarist Alex Windsor, who joined the group in 2022 following the departure of founding member Jennie Cotterill.

Lighten Up was recorded at The Compound in Long Beach and features production by Antoine Arvizu and Miguel Rodriguez. The album promises a more personal and expansive sound, reflecting the band’s evolution over the past five years.

The first single, All Together Now, is out now and available to stream on all major platforms.
