The creator
Nay Amagi was born in Puerto Rico and discovered the subculture scene at the age of 12. This world had a big impact on Nay’s identity, values, and how Nay sees life. The music, the strong sense of community, and the unique culture of groups like Punks and Traditional Skinheads became a key part of Nay’s life.
With a bachelor’s degree in Art of Education focused on Social Science and Ancient History, and now studying for a master’s in Social Studies & History, Nay has a deep passion for understanding how subcultures affect people around the world. This passion led to the creation of Beats & Boots, a platform that shares personal stories from every continent, celebrating music, identity, community, and the people who keep these cultures alive.
