Our All Buttoned Up-community continues to experience rapid growth in recent months, and we are incredibly grateful for it! In our series, ‘Rude Roots,’ we delve into the lives of our community members, exploring their passions and love for alternative culture, music, art, and other captivating stories. This time we talked with Lynn Hübenbecker about how she became a skinhead, adult movies, fashion and her love for bright colours.
Introduction
Hi Lynn! Thanks for taking the time to talk with us! How are you?
I’m very well. Thanks for asking 🙂
You live in Kiel (Germany) right? How’s life over there?
Most time the weather isn’t that good, but I really enjoy to live by the sea.
Can you tell us a bit about how you grew up?
I grew up in a suburb of Kiel, with a little sister (1,5 years younger), a cat and a dog. We have been a normal family and my grandparents lived in the same neighbourhood and spend a lot of time with my sister and me.
What keeps you busy in your daily life?
I have some hobbies like cooking, baking, sewing, darts, billard and to try new makeups. I invest a lot of time in new ideas for videos and photos. Nevertheless, I try to find time to read and watch documentaries as often as possible.
Involvement in the scene
How did you first become interested in punk and skinhead culture?
I’ve always been very colorful and loud and felt visually very understood by the punk scene. For me, punk isn’t just about the looks, but that’s the first thing you get from a (sub)culture. When I got to know the first punks, I was very happy about the musical exchange. I already knew one or the other punk band before, but this broadened my musical horizons a lot. But wearing polo shirts and shirts is quite new to my taste. I’ve always liked it on others, but not on myself. But now it’s a part of my wardrobe that I don’t want to miss anymore.
How would you describe your own style? Punk? Skinhead-like? Or something else?
If I had to choose a drawer, I would take skinhead. I perceived many elements of punk as a great influence on my own style. I like to play with clichés, break norms and express my feelings.
Can you tell us a bit about the alternative scene in Germany? It is a vibrant community, or do you think it could be better in some ways?
Basically, I’m good with it. Maybe people are a bit conservative sometimes, but that can also be due to my area. I don’t really care in politics, but I’m happy that the most people here are very left-wing.
Fashion & style
You like Fred Perry a lot! Why? What does the brand stand for?
I associate the brand with pride, independence, cohesion and class. Everyone looks good in it and it’s completely gender-neutral, but still looks good.
What is by far your favourite outfit and why?
I have a pink and a yellow sta-prest and love both the same. I combinate the pink one with a pastel pattern shirt from Warrior Clothing, yellow hat and yellow braces. The yellow sta-prest is great in the combination with the classic yellow/black polo shirt by Fred Perry.
What do you think draws you to the Skinhead/Punk subculture?
I love that everyone is involved and can lives out their creativity with heart and soul. You should ask yourself if the culture suits you and not try to fit artificially into something. For me, there is simply no other culture that meets my taste so much.
What’s the most important part of being different? Why do you want to be different?
For me, it’s about reinventing myself again and again and looking the way I think it’s beautiful. Everyone should make the best of themselves, whatever that means to them.
As a skinhead-girl, have you ever faced any challenges or negative experiences in general?
I am constantly asked about my political views. People make jokes about my haircut, but nothing serious. When I wore an iro, I was discriminated much more often. Nowadays colorful hair is part of the cityscape and many people are used to it.
‘Skingirls do it better!’ is a known saying in the scene. Why?
I interpret the saying as a humorous and proud boast with the girls of the scene.
What’s the message you would like to spread?
Love is much stronger than hate. Calm down and enjoy the beautiful side of life. We should take ourself and our own scene a little less serious.
Adult content
How did you become involved in adult content?
My taste invited me to do so. I love the wearing comfort of barely clothes and to provocate with nudity. It’s sad that all you need is breasts to shock a society. I love to live out my life and make my art colorful and loud. It is important to me that there is a message behind it and I don’t think that it always have to be concrete and directly I don’t want to lecture anyone morally, I just want to make good entertainment, to make people feel good and enjoy their time.
Can you tell us a bit more about all your adult channels our there? What can people expect?
My content is a colorful mix of everyday situations and shootings. Mostly in the direction of sci-fi, post-apocalyptic outlaw or pinup. I try to post new content every day and provide variety. I am always happy to receive an indecent message, comments and expressing wishes. On average, I post two videos every week and on 3 Sundays I spend time in the livecam. It feels very familiar and I often catch myself thinking about individuals in everyday life or laughing at a joke as if I’ve been friends for many years.
At some point you decided to share your sexual endavours with the whole world. How did this start? Tell us everything!
For me, nudity means freedom. Our society must recognize that victims should not be punished. It is not the naked person who is the criminal, but the one who treats him differently because of it. I want to do meaningful work and not sacrifice my time for a broken system. Being self-employed with art is a lot of bureaucracy, but it’s definitely worth it. I’m my own boss and can do what I enjoy to do.
What’s the biggest misconception people have when they’re thinking of an adult performer?
The work behind the videos is very often underestimated. When I talk to someone about it, there are often misunderstandings. But if the person has watched one or the other video, everything is usually explained. I’ve also heard several times that I’m a freak because the content seems strange to some people. Perhaps one expects meaningless stories about parcel carriers and suppliers with a woman with a subscription to surgery.
What kind of content do you enjoy making the most? Why?
It’s hard to say. It always depends on my mood, but mostly the stuff with the craziest disguises and a funny script. Then it doesn’t matter to me about the sexual act and I just enjoy the thing itself.
Do you also enjoy what you’re filming or is it just work for you? Can you seperate those?
It’s always about the fun. When writing the script, we try to realistically include what I’ll be most interested in at the moment of shooting. If circumstances arise that don’t let me enjoy something, we change the script or shoot something else. Luckily, we shoot all the films ourselves with our mobile phones and don’t debit anyone else.
What’s your biggest dream as an erotic content creator? What would you like to archieve?
I want to make films that reach people and move something in them. This year we would love to start making a parody of the old schoolgirl report movies and I hope that there will be many more after that.
Music & concerts
What kind of music do you like? What’s your top 5 artists/bands?
I prefer bovver rock, hard rock, glam, soul, funk, oi, punk and junkshop glam. Right now my 5 favorite artists are: Meat Loaf, Amyl & the Sniffers, the Cramps, Bonecrusher and Roy Ellis
What are your favorite venue’s or places in Kiel (or in Germany) that you like the most?
I can’t commit myself to that, but I’m really looking forward to the This is ska festival and spirit festival.with my friends.
Are you happy with your local music scene?
We have a ska niter every 3 months in my neighbourhood. That’s pretty cool and there’s a very big one in september from afternoon to the morning with dj’s and bands.
Is there something lacking? Would you change something?
I would be happy to have more events. That’s why we wanna start doing Niter in a gym with several people.
The future
What are your personal plans for the future? How do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
It’s really hard to separate work and private life. I hope that I’ll always be able to do what I enjoy. I don’t want to worry about my physical well-being and I want to be completely absorbed in my work. Out of passion and not out of financial interest. I hope that the whole system will have changed by then, because people have woken up and their spirituality and mental health will have the highest priority.
What do you think the future holds for alternative culture? Is it still a bit the same with the same fashion or do you think it will die out in some form?
Change is in the nature of things and is a good thing. I don’t like a lot of modern things, but that’s none of my business. But for sure I love the classic subculture look and I hope it stays that way for as long as possible.
